Glen Mia, NSW

Glen Mia provides a rural outlook and proximity to the coast, combined with all the services of an established and growing town. Located in Bega on the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, the project consists of 156 residential lots over a total area of 38Ha. Lot sizes range from 758m2 to 5454m2. Glen Mia is within an easy walk of the main shopping precinct of Bega and offers the convenience of town water and sewerage, yet it retains a semi-rural character and outlook. The first land was released to the market late in 2003, with more than 70% of the released blocks sold within the first year.

During the development of the land, a strong amicable relationship was established with the Bega Local Aboriginal Council. This will stand CIC in good stead for future developments in the region. Among our initiatives at Glen Mia was the extensive retention of the superb redgums in the subdivision.

Having established a presence in the Bega Valley Shire, and with other potential interests in the region, CIC felt it was important to contribute to the Bega Valley community in a meaningful way. We became the first major corporate sponsor of the Bega Valley regional philanthropic trust – The Mumbulla Foundation. CIC pledged a contribution to the Foundation from every block we sell in the Bega Valley Shire, to assist in the support of many and varied worthwhile community initiatives.
